Chicago Street Theatre presents
William Shakespeare's KING LEAR
Directed by guest artist Andrea J. Dymond
A story of ignorance and deceit, King Lear is considered one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies. Unable to see beyond the lies of his eldest daughters, he divides his kingdom among the two daughters who flatter him and banishes the third who loves him. Rejected by his eldest, Lear wanders through a storm and is driven mad.
