This is an exhibition about art and love. Billy Pozzo’s paintings, drawings, and sculptures are inspired by music, popular culture, loss, and the memories and people who surround him—especially his daughter Polly, a painter who challenges preconceived notions of ability and creativity.

Polly and her dad can often be found in the studio where they learn and create together. The work they create is their shared language that demonstrates the capacity of art to heal and bond us. Both artists’ bodies of work are aligned not only because they are family, but as the intent of both is to process their surroundings and experiences, albeit in very different practices.

This exhibition tells a story of Polly and her dad, a story that needs to be heard and shared of family resilience, unconditional love, and the power of art to connect us all.
