Thanks to the generous support from Powers Health, Art in Focus is FREE to adult learners of all ages who are interested in the arts and its impact on our world. Sessions are held every second and fourth Monday of the month at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster. Presentations begin at 10am and run between 45 mins and 10 hour.

South Shore Arts Gallery Manager, Brandon Johnson will give a lecture on the history of the Surrealist movement in Art. An examination of its philosophical and cultural roots, goals, and failures. We will take looks at several notable artists of the Surrealist movement including Salvador Dali and Max Ernst.
