We are excited to announce our first-ever free offering for the Aging Community, made possible by the Indiana Art Commission Creative Aging Grant. Each category will provide a sampling of mediums where you will be guided through skills, techniques, and the fundamental learning blocks. Classes are beginner-level introductory courses and will also explore technology-enhanced components. There is limited space and registrants must be 55 or older to be eligible to join.

What can I expect during each session?
Each session will focus on specific mediums or categories and attendees can anticipate an introductory sampling to help jumpstart creative juices and connections through Art! Instructors will meet with each class on Tuesdays and Thursdays to lead attendees through creative processes step-by-step. This is a learn as you go sequential process that builds skill over time
Are all materials provided?
Yes! Attendees are always welcome to bring their own materials too, but we provide all items needed for each course.
What happens if I need to miss a class?
Please register with the intention of attending all classes, but if anyone who must miss a class is asked to notify their instructor so they can bring you up to speed the following class.
What if I am a newbie to all things art related?
Great! These sessions are introductory classes and are meant for beginners. You will fit right in!
What if I am restricted or have a disability? Can I join?
Absolutely! Our instructors are in place to accommodate your needs and we created this course specifically with the Aging Community in mind, who may have a range of challenges that need support.
Can I register for more than one session?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage that! Only register if you can make all the dates listed.
