Who Can Participate:
Students who have or are currently enrolled in any of South Shore Art’s classes from the past year (May 2024 – May 2025)
Teachers/faculty who has taught or worked for South Shore Arts in the last year (May 2024 – May 2025)
Members of South Shore Art’s Teen Arts Board or the Hammond Scholarship Kids from the past year (May 2024 – May 2025)
South Shore Arts Board and South Shore Arts Members from the past year (May 2024 – May 2025)
What Type of Work?
Work that has been made either in or in conjunction with taking a class at South Shore Arts this includes, but is not limited to: ceramics, sculpture, paintings, drawing, fabric, etc.
Work which has been created outside of classes/South Shore Arts by participating students/board members/ members
Teachers/faculty are free to bring in any work they have made either in class or outside of class
Dropping Off Work
Drop off work with Gallery Manger, Brandon Johnson, located in the Gallery, or on either of the two downstairs tables in the art hallway.
All artwork should have the following information attached to the pieces: Artists Name, Title of Piece, Medium, Price (if applicable), and contact information i.e. email.
Timeline
February 21– March 3: Artwork Drop off in Gallery or tables located outside of studios
March 4-6 Install of Works in Progress
March 7–29: Exhibit run
Sunday, March 9, 1–3pm: Artists Reception
